Terms of Use

The rules for using Veloxo as a rider and Veloxo Organiser as a cycling club, in plain words.

Last updated 21 October 2026

These terms apply when you use the Veloxo or Veloxo Organiser app. In these terms, “Veloxo” and “we” mean the Veloxo team that runs both apps. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

01

Who can use Veloxo

You must be 18 or older and give accurate information. Keep your sign-in details safe; you’re responsible for what happens in your account.

02

Training plans and Velo

  • Training plans and Velo’s replies are general fitness guidance. They are not medical advice. Velo, our Sports Intelligence (SI) coach, runs on AI and can be wrong.
  • Check with a doctor before starting or increasing training, especially if you have a medical condition. Stop and get help if you feel unwell.
  • Ride safely and follow traffic rules. You are responsible for your own riding, equipment and safety.
03

Events

  • Events on Veloxo are organised and run by independent cycling clubs, not by Veloxo. The club is responsible for the event, the route, safety arrangements, results and refunds.
  • When you register, you agree to the event’s rules shown on its page (for example helmets, age limits, cut-off times).
  • Cycling events carry a risk of injury. You take part at your own risk, as described in the event’s rules and any waiver the club asks for.
04

Payments

  • Entry fees are paid directly to the club (for example to the club’s UPI ID). Veloxo does not receive, hold or refund entry fees.
  • Refunds and distance changes follow the refund policy on the event page and are paid by the club.
  • Veloxo is free during testing. If we add paid features later, we’ll show the price and terms before you pay.
05

For clubs (organisers)

  • Clubs are reviewed before they can publish events. Give accurate information about your club, events, prices and payment details.
  • You’re responsible for running your events lawfully and safely, including permits, insurance, marshals and refunds.
  • Use riders’ personal data (including emergency and medical details) only to run your event and keep riders safe. Don’t share it or use it for marketing.
  • Confirm payments honestly and promptly. We may unpublish events or remove clubs that mislead riders or break these terms.
06

Things you must not do

  • Post false, offensive or illegal content in events, updates or messages.
  • Impersonate others, enter fake transaction numbers, or try to access data that isn’t yours.
  • Interfere with the app, scrape it, or use it to send spam.

07

Your content

You own what you add (for example event descriptions or messages). You let us store and show it in Veloxo so the app works. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

08

Connected devices

If you connect a device or training account (such as Wahoo or Intervals.icu), its own terms also apply. You can disconnect it at any time.

09

Availability and changes

Veloxo is a project in active development and is provided “as is”. Features may change, and the app may sometimes be unavailable. We’ll tell you in the app before important changes to these terms apply.

10

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Veloxo isn’t liable for injuries, losses or disputes arising from events run by clubs, from your training, or from services we don’t control. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law.

11

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time (how). We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

12

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction.
